Uncle Chuck
I’m Chuck Bailey, brother-in-law to Gary and Patty Treworgy. My wife is Michaele, Patty’s sister. I do many different things on the farm, including managing crops, field work and machinery maintenance. I aim to keep the farm looking great for our visitors.
I have a 4-year degree in animal and dairy science from the University of New Hampshire. I also went to graduate school for Biblical studies. When I’m not at the farm, I enjoy hiking, climbing mountains and spending time with our family. We have seven grandchildren! Together we like to make apple sauce, bake bread, freeze blueberries, spend time at camp and church, and garden.
In the late-80s and 90s, Michaele, our children and I spent over 10 years in Burkina Faso, West Africa, doing missionary work. More recently, I’ve volunteered with a project in New Orleans called ServeUP, which involves college kids helping to make New Orleans a better place.
