A Farmer’s Manifesto
At Treworgy Family Orchards
We believe in connection to community - choosing to be known by folks who accept us as we are and challenge us to become more.
We believe in connection to the land - allowing nature to nourish our bodies and our souls, living close to the land, and following the seasonal rhythms of rest and work.
We believe in connection to God - through community and nature we remember we are a small, but important part of a larger story. Here we remember who we are.
We believe in family - there’s always a place at the table. Everyone is welcome.
We believe in generosity - there’s always enough. We help those in need, take folks at their word, and trust that generosity produces abundance.
We believe in beauty - in bringing order to chaos and living in the space between the wild and the cultivated. We believe everyone can embrace their space and make it beautiful.
We believe in stewardship - this land and our lives are not our own. We have a sacred responsibility to leave it better than we found it.
We believe in innovation - everyone is created to be creative. We believe in defining ‘better’ and in always asking ‘How can I improve this?’
We believe in faith - we are a part of something bigger than ourselves and no matter how bad things look, this story has a good ending.
We believe in real food, hard work, and joyful celebration.
We believe in supporting small local businesses, knowing our neighbors, and creating space for people to thrive.
We believe in playing the long game, real-world entertainment, and food we harvest ourselves tastes better.
At Treworgy Family Orchards we believe everyone was made to gather and grow.
