Gary Treworgy

As owner of the farm and father of all the “Treworgy girls,” I keep plenty busy around here. You can usually find me in the workshop doing general woodworking and fix-it projects, but I still have lots of time for my other favorite things: spending time with my grandchildren, hiking, winter camping, building model boats, sailing and enjoying the pond.

I have a B.S. in Nautical Science from the Maine Maritime Academy, and at one point, I was the youngest captain in the U.S. Merchant Fleet. I used to race sailboats in college, and most people are surprised to know that I worked at UPS for 23 years.

I love our apples here at Treworgy, and the stick horses are my favorite animal (because I don’t have to feed them). But my favorite treat is homemade chocolate chip cookies.
