Matt Pellerin
I’m Matt, Gary and Patty’s son-in-law. My wife is Robin, the Treworgy’s second-oldest daughter. I am the Director of Agricultural for the farm. I also coordinate our popular fall concert series and oversee advertising.
Although I consider myself a lifelong student, I have a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Maine (2007) and a master’s in Civil Engineering, also from the University of Maine (2010).
When I’m not working at the farm, I like to spend time at Sebec Lake with Robin and our 5 children. Robin and I also love to ski, hike, and contradance. I play the fiddle and my wife calls contradances, so each year, at the Treworgy employee party, we organize a dance for our employees.
One of my favorite places on the farm is the new fields where we’ve planted baby Christmas trees. They are in the middle of the woods, so it’s really quiet and peaceful there. I can’t wait for our customers to come experience the cut-your-own Christmas Tree experience as Treworgy.
My favorite farm-fresh recipe is pumpkin pie made from our Cinderella pumpkins. My favorite farm animals are the free-range chickens. I love to watch them from my kitchen window.
