Ginny Nute

I’m Miss Ginny, Director of Farm Camp & Education here at the Farm. My first introduction with the Treworgy family was when I had Robin as a camper at FHC (we won’t say how long ago, you’re welcome Robin).

Bringing 18 seasons at Treworgy Family Orchards, an eclectic resume (mother of 3, UMaine I&LS, teaching indoor and outdoor classrooms, animals care) and camp leadership positions (too many to list) since I was a teenager, I continue the tradition of Farm Camp again this year, that Patty began over 20 years ago.  

A sense of adventure, lover of dirt, laughing, animals, learning, passion and creativity are the catalyst to my sharing of all things beautiful. I can usually be found with a baby goat or a frog in hand and mud covered Chacos, asking where is my clipboard or water bottle. I’ve also been told that everyone knows where I am when I laugh, no matter where they are on the farm. 

When I’m not at the Farm (wait, what?!) I can be found off on an adventure, gardening, meandering through the woods, playing board games, enjoying sunsets and the stars. I also really enjoy dipping my toes in the ocean.
