Chrissy Kenerson

I’m Chrissy Kenerson, and I have the great privilege of being one of the owners and the CEO of the farm. This place has been my home since I was 3 years old and I have enjoyed growing up along with the crops and animals here on the farm. My parents (Gary and Patty Treworgy) invested their time, energy, resources and love into this place and I will be forever grateful to them for the gift they left to the next generation. 

I have a master’s degree in Food Science and Human Nutrition from UMO and I used to be a Registered Dietitian. These days I use my training to try to convince my five children to eat "real food” (aka more apples, less doughnuts). 

Some of my favorite parts of my role here at the farm are: creating spaces and opportunities for people to thrive, overseeing the moving of big rocks, curating “farm radio,” taste testing smoothies, connecting with local vendors, working with our amazing team and picking fruit from the farm everyday of the year that it is available. Although I have been here for a long time, I am still blown away that I get to do this work and offer the opportunity for our staff and guests to come and enjoy the farm. I hope you find the farm as delightful as I do!
