Field Trips

Come visit us at Treworgy Family Orchards and find out how pumpkins grow, and how we keep our apples healthy, how we milk the goats and, make fresh apple cider!

Our field trip schedule fills up fast, so be ready to book yours in August! Trips are available from September 6 to October 14, 2011, Tuesdays through Fridays, at 9:30 and 11:30 am.

Farm Explorers | Cost: $5 per child

You’ll get to…

• Ride the hay wagon and take a tour of the whole farm
• Visit the petting zoo and feed the animals
• See how we milk the goats
• Pick your own apple
• Watch us make apple cider, and then try some!

Farm Explorers (Ice Cream Included) | Cost: $6.50 per child

Farm Adventurers (Ice Cream and Corn Maze Included) | Cost: $8.50 per child

Kids love the challenge of our exciting corn maze! Enjoy the Farm Adventurers trip and then head for more fun!

Afternoon Hayride Trips

Reserve an afternoon hayride trip for your group Tuesday through Friday.

Hayride: $3/person

Hayride & ice cream: $4.50/person

Hayride and corn maze (and ice cream!!): $7.50/person

You should know…

• There’s a $50 minimum for all trips.
• No charge for accompanying adult helpers.
• To maximize safety and fun, we ask that you send at least one adult for every five preschool children and at least one adult for every 10 children, first grade and up. We appreciate adult help shepherding the little seedlings around this working farm!
• We have plenty of picnic tables, so you can bring your lunch and eat before or after your trip.
• The Ice Cream Shop opens at 10 am and offers hard serve, soft serve, sundaes, and fountain treats.
• We start taking field trip reservations in August for the fall season.
