Summer Day Camp

A great group of campers!

The 2011 Summer Camp is completely full.  We’re sorry if you missed out, be sure to sign up extra early next year!

Kids!

If you’re 6 to 12 years old, come spend a week (or more) with us here at Treworgy Family Orchards and have a great time learning all about farm life!

You won’t believe all the cool things you’ll do and see! Get ready to…

• Care for a goat, pick the one you want to feed, brush, and walk every day.
• Help milk our momma goats.
• Turn that goat’s milk into cheese.
• Make strawberries into yummy jam.
• Ride a horse.
• Go for hayrides around the farm.
• Visit and learn about our other farm animals, chickens, rabbits, horses, and a mini-donkey.
• Make paper, ice cream, goat’s milk soap and lots of other cool crafts.
• Check out the frogs and other critters in our frog pond. Ribbit! There’s always an adult right nearby.
• Fly kites in the field.
• Play lots of games.
• Get wet when it’s hot! We love the slip ‘n slide!

Important things to know…

• We limit each session to 16 campers so we can give everyone plenty of attention.

Our wonderful counselors make sure you stay safe, and that you have a great time!

• Camp runs from 8:30 am to 4 pm, Monday through Friday.

Please let us know if campers need to arrive early or stay late.

• Wear casual clothes you can get dirty, old jeans, shirts, and boots or sneakers.

• We provide healthy snacks every day, fruit, popcorn, buttermilk bisquits, crackers and goat cheese, and oatmeal-chocolate chip cookies.
• And, we invite parents and friends to join us Friday afternoons for a first-hand look at all the campers did during the week.

• Our 2011 camp fee is $275/week
